Isle of Skye

3rd - 5th July 2020

One of Scotland's most popular tourist attractions, practically all to ourselves, some other people bored of sitting inside and working from home... oh and LOTS of sheep!! As Scotland eased restrictions on travelling, 4 of us decided to swap what should have been a holiday to Oslo for travelling up north to Skye. Apparently it's always like this, but the weather was just ever so slightly changeable. Okay very changeable, every 5 mins it was raining, then sunny and the first day we unfortunately did not time it very well! As I said though, we had it practically to ourselves, compared to what a normal summer would be like. So we timed it pretty well on that part!

A trip to the fairy pools and Neist Point below. The photos of the lighthouse at Neist Point show exactly what I mean by the changeable weather!

Photos below taken, no lie, 5 minutes apart...

Day 2 - The Quiraing and The Old Man of Storr. The most amazing landscapes the Isle of Skye has to offer!

Number one models!

Day 3 and home time, but not before a stop off to a few popular spots and of course the old rule... If you see a Highland Coo in a field, frantically abandon the car and take a photay!
